Heckler & Koch HK33 is a 5.56×45mm NATO assault rifle developed in the mid-1960s by Heckler & Koch of West Germany as a scaled-down derivative of the G3 platform. It retains the company’s signature roller-delayed blowback operating system, eliminating the need for a conventional gas system. This mechanically delayed action provides consistent cyclic behavior, durability, and reliability across varied ammunition conditions while maintaining structural simplicity.
